ANTI-CORRUPTION LITERACY FORUM (BACOLOD & ANTIPOLO)

The Anti-Corruption Literacy Forum, having been successfully pilot-tested in Davao in 2002, continued as an anti-corruption campaign strategy that targeted the youth of Bacolod and Metro Manila.

In Bacolod, the ACLF was conducted in August 2003 in partnership with the provincial government office through board member Mardi Suplido, who is also a member of pagbabago@Pilipinas. The youth participants came from the Sangguniang Kabataan.

In Metro Manila, the ACLF conducted in October 2003 was successfully organized in partnership with student-interns from the University of the Philippines. A good mix of youth participants (student leaders from different universities, Junior Graft-Watch Units, Sangguniang Kabataan) was gathered for the two-day forum that was held in Antipolo to confront the issue of corruption.
