its year-end General Assembly at the Discovery Suites, Ortigas.
Aside from the TAN members, friends from government, donor community and
civil society graced the occasion. Among the personalities that have
attended were the newly appointed Ombudsman Simeon Marcelo and Assistant
Ombudsman Ernesto Nocos.
The new TAN members were also introduced in the affair, these being
Procurement Watch, Inc. and Ms. Tatine Faylona as individual affiliate

The year-end General Assembly gave light to the accomplishments made in
the year 2002, which include:
1. Partnerships with like-minded government institutions such as the
Presidential Anti-Graft Commission and Presidential Committee on
Effective Governance
2. Involvement in the Ombudsman Search Process
3. Anti-Corruption Literacy Program targeting the youth pilot-tested in
Davao City
4. Setting up of the TAN website (www.tan.org.ph)
An informal meeting between the TAN Executive Council and Ombudsman
